The Tour Experience
Your adventure begins at the Walvis Bay Yacht Club, where your guide meets you and gives a short briefing.
Stop 1:
Walvis Bay Lagoon — a RAMSAR site and one of Southern Africa’s most important wetlands. Snap photos of flamingos and pelicans in their natural setting.
Stop 2:
Salt Refinery — learn about Namibia’s largest solar evaporation facility, producing over 750,000 tons annually.
Stop 3:
Peninsula Drive — off-road dune driving between the roaring Atlantic and calm lagoon.
Stop 4:
Shipwreck & Lighthouse — explore relics of the past and the striking Pelican Point Lighthouse.
Stop 5:
Cape Fur Seal Colony — walk among seals and seabirds before enjoying sparkling wine and homemade snacks.
After refreshments, we return to Walvis Bay exhilarated and with cameras full of memories.
